Family pictures 2009

Can I just say...amazing!!!! We recently had family pictures taken and it was so much fun in spite of a grumpy two year old who wanted nothing to do with any of it! We went out to a park and a friend of ours who is an awesome photographer...so creative...took the most amazing pics. Just check out the link below:

Gettin ready for Ryan

So we are all very excited for Ryan's return next week. We had a fun Family Home Evening making posters and signs for each of us to hold when he comes down the stairs/escalator at the airport. It's such a bummer that you can't go upstairs anymore and be there waiting at the gate. Oh well! I have to say this waiting is just about as bad as the last few weeks of pregnancy, haha! We had a little argument the other day over who gets to hug Ryan first. I very quickly put my children in their place, with Johnny's help. He made it very clear to them..."mom gets to hug Ryan first or you'll all be grounded", lol!! I support that decision 100%!! Anyway, Ryan, or should I say Elder Edmund, comes in to RDU at 6:47 pm on February 25th. All are welcome to come to the airport and welcome him home if you want to but if you can't make it we're having a Homecoming Party on February 28th at our house from 7pm - 9pm. He'd love to see you all!

No time to say hello-goodbye...I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!

DANG!!! There's just not enough time in a day!!! I can't seem to stay on top of this whole blog thing. I feel like the rabbit in Alice in Wonderland. Anyway, just a quick update and then some fun pics and videos.
Jacob is 4 1/2 months old and is loving the new world of babyfood. So am I since he won't take a bottle. I actually got to go to the temple last night. WOOHOO! It was great to fill my spiritual well. Of course, I'll only leave him with his daddy at this point cause he's the only one who can keep him happy for that long when he doesn't get to nurse. That's truly about the only time Jacob is unhappy...when he's hungry. Other than that he has got to be the happiest, most laid back baby we have ever had. He is still an amazing source of entertainment for all the other kids (mom & dad too). He smiles all the time and has the most expressive face and he loves to make all sorts of noises. His favorite...blowing raspberries!!! Here's two videos because I couldn't decide which one I liked better. They were taken one right after the other because he just kept doing it. He is one funny boy!! Notice the crunches he's doing. He's gonna have abs of steel, haha!

One of his other favorite things to do is play in his activity chair. He even fell asleep one time.
